MALAYSIAN ARMY AND AUSTRALIAN RIFLE COY STORMS 'ENEMY' POSITION IN PERAK

The recent Field Training Exercise (FTX) between the troops from the Malaysian Army and Australian Army, named Ex-Haringgaroo, had indeed met its objectives in enhancing and fostering the good relationship all these years.  The FTX under the billateral cooperation between the 2 forces under the Malaysian Australian Joint Defence Program (MAJDP) has been an ongoing exercise over the years.The recent FTX gave its focus on the Offensive Phase in Conventional Warfare and was coordinated by the 4th Infantry Division of the Malaysian Army with the deployment of the 11th Infantry Brigade.

The last phase of the 'attack' took place in Sungkai, Perak. The Blue Forces comprising of both the Malaysian Army and the 1st Australian Rifle Company, stationed in Butterworth, stormed into Red Forces (enemy) position and secured the area.
