YB Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, Head of Wanita UMNO, contributed goodies for the Malaysian Armed Forces personnel who will miss the Eid Fitri celebration due to call of duty.  The Chief of Defence Force, YBhg General Tan Sri Dato' Sri (Dr) Zulkifeli bin Mohd Zin, was present to receive the contribution on behalf of the MAF at the Perkasa Hall, MAF Officer's Mess.  The CDF thanked Wanita UMNO for its continuous support to MAF all these years and in her return address, YB Datuk Seri Shahrizal Abdul Jalil, repeated mentioned that the MAF will always stay as the Nation's Heroes to the applause of those present.

The Deputy Minister of Women,Family and Community Development, YB Datuk Azizah Mohd Dun, IGP Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, Head of Director  Fire and Rescue Department, YBhg Dato' Wan Mohd Nor bin Ibrahim and Head of Director Civil Defence Department, YBhg Dato' Zaitun Ab Samad were also present to receive the contribution by Wanita UMNO.
