The Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) Football Association is now officially sponsored by Affin Bank Berhad for the 2014 season.  The signing ceremony which was scheduled in early 2014 was witheld due to some technical snag involving the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) and ASTRO Arena Sdn Bhd.

A small but meaningful signing ceremony took place at the MAF Officer's Mess in the presence of YBhg Tan Sri Dato' Sri (Dr.) Zulkifeli bin Mohd Zin, the MAF Chief of Defence Force, who is also the MAF Football Association President, and YBhg Tan Sri Ismail bin Hj Omar (Retired), Chairman of Affin Bank Berhad.  The ceremony was also attended by senior officers and officials from both MAF and Affin Bank Berhad.

The sponsorship of RM 1.25m will indeed be benificial to the MAF Football Association in managing and administering the MAF team, The Gladiators.
